spaces of play (and other abandoned materials)

The following is a series of photographs taken in Sturovo, Slovakia and its surrounds. I began documenting compositions in the everyday landscape that spoke of the body in its absence.  In particular, I became interested in sculptural qualities of unused play equipment and the possible narratives behind seemingly out of context objects in the street.
