Middle Ground

Middle Ground presented studio works in progress by Fine Art Honours candidates from Queensland College of Art. Ranging from painting, sculpture, installation, textiles, jewellery and performance, Middle Ground served as a dynamic and eclectic showcase of emerging contemporary practitioners. Each artist had spent the year to date engrossed in the theoretical and practical project of their own direction. Half way through the year long program, the exhibiting artists revealed a taste test of their labours and a hint of things to come.
I am also part of a panel discussion happening tomorrow night (Wednesday 7th August, 2013) at The Hold.
